Event: SWAMI Family Day

Activities: Games booth, photo booth, food and drinks booth, balloon sculpture (by other SWAMI volunteers/staff)

Objective:  

SWAMI HOME FAMILY DAY is for the SWAMI Home's residents and their residents' family members. It is not a carnival and we would discourage participants to bring children along. 

We are joining as volunteers for this event. SWAMI HOME needs at least 20 volunteers to help to usher the residents who have no family on that day. These can be both mobile or wheel chaired bound residents. The ushers will be bringing the residents around to visit the booths to brighten up their day. More details will briefed by the nurse manager at 9am, in the library on 26th May. It will be good if we can garner enough ex-SPYs to help out as ushers.   

Participation in the Swami Home Family Day is a form of giving back to the community by last year's SPYs. It forms the series of activities leading up to the PPA on 15 Sept and local programme in November to create awareness of SSEAYP. Members who are interested to join us in this meaningful event, please contact the SIS board by 20 May 2012.
