Please send an email to joylim@gmail.com if you can assist us in any way. For more information of this project, please contact any of the project team members: We look forward to your active participation. Sincerely Additional information about Mangabon Elementary School "There are more than 200 children attending classes in this school from the neighboring mountain barangays of the area, most of them have to walk for an hour or more just to reach this school. Malnutrition and other health problems are the usual concerns of the children in this school which can be directly related to the economic condition of their families relying only on farming as the main source of livelihood. The community where the school belong has no access to electricity, this made the children so behind as far as multi media education approach concerned. Teachers really solely on workbooks and textbooks as their teaching tools but unfortunately thier books are not enough for the children in their school. The ratio of books to children is 1: 3, not to mention some of them are outdated books. So many factors can be identified to have caused this condition, but the fact that the books you will be giving to this children will surely benefit them without doubt. " |
