SIGA is an annual general meeting of former participants of the SSEAYP, their families as well as host parents. It is organized by SSEAYP International (SI) and hosted by an Alumni Associations on a rotational basis. The 1st SIGA was held in 1988 was hosted by KABESA - the Malaysian Alumni Association. SIGA 2010 SIGA 2010 was successfully held at Ayutthaya Thailand from 30 April 2010 to 3 May 2010. The Singapore contingent comprise 59 members and host families.
The SI Award 2010 was conferred to Director (International Affairs) Imhar Said for his exemplary and distinguished community service and undivided passion for SSEAYP. The SI Award 2010 was also conferred to REN / SSEAYP Post Program Activities Interest Group, SSEAYP INTERNATIONAL SINGAPORE (SIS) for their exceptional voluntary service, displaying high degree of professionalism and leadership, loyalty, tenacity and dedication for the benefits of others in the society. Vice President (Administration) Ho Meng Wai received the award on behalf of the Interest Group.
The Social Contribution Activity (SCA), an SIS initiative, was adopted to be a SI Project. This year, SI youth performed community service at Chao Fa Sang Primary School, Bang Pa-In, Ayutthaya province from 28 - 30 April 2010.
SIGA 2011 will be held in Singapore from 29 April 2011 to 2 May 2011.
